The journey of a father and son over their love for food, travel and adventure is what began Jonah’s. Named after his son, Jonah’s Bistro is looking at expanding across the globe. Jonah’s now at Poes Garden will be serving European and Fusion food under the tag line “Jonah’s meets Chef Willi”.

Chef Willi:
Willi Willson, known as the world travel chef, has trotted the globe in his “accidental” career as chef. He joined the army and left his home town in New Zealand to win over palettes across Australia, England, Germany and China before making India his new home. It was during his time at the Oberoi, Kolkata that he got the nick name Chef Willi. But neither Goa nor Kolkata could reel him in as much as Chennai did. His love for the people of Chennai and his ability to woo them with his food’s magic have made him a welcome member of the city. New, Chef Willi looks to work his magic in the 3rd Jonah’s outlet in Chennai. Jonah’s has made quite the impact in food sense in Chennai. But what happens when an unstoppable Chef meets an irresistible Bistro…

Bakers Home:
Set up in 2007 in Pondicherry by Mr. Jean Luc Klugeshrez Bakers Street used recipies handed down through 8 generations of bakers. Bakers Street brings to you Bakers Home exclusively at Jonah’s, to offer you a range of traditional French breads, sandwich, chocolates and pastries.

Located at the exclusive Poes Garden, “Jonah’s meets Chef Willi” is going to be a one of its kind restaurant in Chennai. The menu has been tailor made by our world travelling Chef Willi. The inspiration comes from the Chef’s travels and is inclined towards continental with an essence of fusion food from across the world. Being the perfectionist he is Chef’s put together an excellent team making the experience at the restaurant the one to come back for more.
